  • Produced an award-winning direct to DVD feature film sequel for Odom-Booker Entertainment, securing a worldwide distribution deal with Canada’s largest movie distributor, Entertainment One (E1), by hiring name talent for only one day, utilizing students and interns for low pay, and functioning personally in multiple crew positions to deliver the film after the budget was reduced by 75%

 

  • Co-produced and shot an award-winning feature film for One Way or Another Productions by managing the production process to overcome the limitations of a skeleton crew

 

  • Collaborated on feature films for Warning Films that found successful, profitable, worldwide distribution through Maverick Entertainment by shooting and directing scenes, creating on-the-fly dialogue, and acting on-camera when necessary to complete scenes without scripts or enough talent on set

Biography

 

Christopher C. Odom is a published author, course director at Full Sail University, YouTube Series Creator and graduate of the UCLA Master of Fine Arts Program in Film, Television and Digital Media. Currently, he produces, hosts and edits the Japan Travel Web Series, Big Trip To Japan.

As a producer, director, writer at Odom-Booker Entertainment, Christopher is an international and domestic multi-award-winning, independent filmmaker, whose work has been nationally televised and screened in cities worldwide, including Tel Aviv, Berlin, Cannes, Los Angeles and New York. His Odom-Booker feature film, 23RD PSALM, won several awards, including best picture wins in Berlin and San Diego.

A former Story Analyst for Creative Artist Agency (CAA) and a current member of the Writers Guild of America, west (WGA), Christopher’s screenplays have also accumulated numerous accolades and awards.

As part of Odom-Booker Entertainment, Christopher produced 23RD PSALM: REDEMPTION, the sequel to 23RD PSALM, with Tatyana Ali and Clifton Powell, which was distributed domestic and international through Entertainment One.
